Today I started reading Bill Bryson’s “In a Sunburned Country” which is a sort of travel book on Australia. I’m barely 50 pages in and the book is absolutely perfect, it’s making the country seem even more charming to me than it already was.
I cannot WAIT until I fulfill my dream of moving there, permanently.
Tonight I visited my all-time favorite spot in Columbus, the Book Loft. Located in German Village, the Book Loft is made up of pre-Civil War era buildings (once general stores, a saloon, and a nickelodeon cinema) connected together to create a maze of 32 glorious rooms filled with bargain priced books. It’s hard to explain the Book Loft, it’s honestly something you just have to experience.
I was only able to purchase one book tonight, a travel guide to Aussieland entitled “In a Sunburned Country.” The rest of the books pictured were things I wanted to buy but wasn’t able to, they’ll all go on my “books to read this summer” list.

When my computer is plugged in at night, this little green light is the only thing glowing in my room. I feel like Gatsby staring at it every night. (Taken with instagram)
